Terms of Use

1. About Domestic Contract Review

Domestic Contract Review is a structured intake, triage, document-organisation and workflow platform that provides a lawyer-led, AI-assisted fixed-fee first review for domestic contract issues.

2. The $699 Fixed-Fee Review

Customers may complete an intake form, upload documents, pay $699 including GST, and receive a written assessment prepared and reviewed by an Australian practising lawyer.

3. What the service includes

The fixed-fee review may include:

  • summary of the contract issue or document reviewed
  • identification of key facts and documents relied on
  • identification of apparent legal, procedural or commercial issues
  • practical assessment of the customer's apparent position
  • identification of obvious risks, weaknesses or missing information
  • view on whether the matter appears worth pursuing or defending
  • recommended next steps
  • available fixed-fee options if further assistance is justified

4. What the service does not include

The fixed-fee review does not include:

  • full legal representation
  • contacting the other side
  • filing documents in court or tribunal
  • appearing at a hearing
  • drafting pleadings, affidavits or detailed submissions
  • negotiation with the other side
  • urgent injunction or emergency representation work
  • open-ended follow-up advice
  • ongoing carriage of the matter

5. AI-assisted workflow

AI may assist with organising documents, dates, chronology, uploaded material, possible issues and missing information. AI does not replace the lawyer. The final written assessment is prepared and reviewed by an Australian practising lawyer.

6. Payment

The price is $699 including GST. Payment is required before the matter is submitted for lawyer review. No active matter is created until payment is confirmed.

7. Turnaround

Domestic Contract Review aims to provide the written assessment within 48 hours after payment and receipt of complete usable material.

8. Refunds / unable to assist

If, after reviewing the material, Domestic Contract Review is unable to provide the service, the payment will be refunded. Reasons may include conflict of interest, unusable documents, insufficient information, or the matter being outside the service Domestic Contract Review can properly provide.

9. Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate information, relevant documents, identify deadlines, and not withhold facts or documents that may affect the review.

10. No outcome guarantee

Domestic Contract Review does not guarantee any result, legal outcome, settlement, court result, or recovery.

11. Further work

Further work, including letters, responses, court or tribunal documents, negotiation, or representation, requires a separate fixed-fee agreement or engagement.

12. Privacy and documents

Refer to the Privacy Policy. Uploaded documents are handled for the purpose of providing the service and may be processed through secure AI-assisted workflows.

13. Website use

General website content is for information only and should not be relied on as legal advice unless a fixed-fee review or separate engagement has been accepted.
